About the event

“The state of yoga may be attained through dharmic birth, the use of sacred plants, mantra, tapaha, or samadhi. — Patanjali, Yoga Sutra 4.1”

In my experience, yoga and plant medicine are complementary modalities. They are both aimed at helping people to identify more with the heart and soul, to feel and integrate all of their emotions, and ultimately to experience true freedom and joy.

This workshop will integrate yoga practice, meditation, and specific traditional uses of herbs and plants as well as methods for making home elixirs and remedies.

Whether you have worked extensively with plants or you are interested in learning ways to start, in this workshop all are welcome to learn and share about experiences with plant allies in self care for mind, body and heart. We will be discussing herbal therapies and sharing resources.

This worship includes:

A guided yoga practice

Tea ceremony

Meditation

Journaling and group discussion

Lesson on plant ally properties, benefits and uses.

Medicine making
