Amy Robert
Amy (she/her) is originally from the Adirondacks but found her way to the beauty of the Catskills in 2003. She and her husband settled in the village of Delhi where they raised their two daughters. With over 20 years of experience working in healthcare as a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant , Amy brings a deep understanding of anatomy, kinesiology and rehabilitation to her teaching.
Amy discovered yoga while navigating everyday challenges of family life and quickly recognized the powerful “pause” yoga can create. Through her own practice, she developed a deeper capacity for introspection, empathy, compassion and connection to the community. Inspired to share these benefits with others, she completed her 200 Yoga Teacher Training through Yoga People Oneonta in 2025. Her training reinforced that yoga begins with oneself, then spreads outward like a quiet ripple touching every aspect of life.
Outside the studio, Amy and her husband own and operate a construction management firm serving the northeastern part of New York State. She also shares her home with two dogs, Sid and Simon, a yellow lab and golden retriever. As a family, they continue to spend time in the Adirondacks, skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, boating and relaxing around campfires.
