Valerie Bolger

Valerie was born and raised in Central New York and is a proud SUNY Oneonta alumni.  Her personal and family belief their temple is health; and because of this dedication to her health, Valerie earned a Masters in Health Education from the State University of New York at Cortland.  Along with being a yoga teacher, she is a mother of two, a wife and a homeowner; all important life experiences to help her relate to her students and teach them how to cultivate a daily yoga practice.  Valerie is currently an adjunct professor with the Fitness & Health Department and a yoga teacher with the Continuing Education Department at her alma mater. She also offers yoga classes at the Green Earth Health Food Store on Market St.

Valerie received her 200 hr YogaFit Teacher Training in 2007 and continued her education to become certified in YogaFit Anatomy & Alignment, Yoga for Kids, Ayurveda, and Yoga for Seniors.  She also had the incredible opportunity to learn from world-renowned teachers Seane Corn and Rodney Yee at the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health in Stockbridge, MA. She has over 10 years of experience teaching in a variety of locations and venues and is now excited to be a part of the TRIBE YOGA team.
