I started practicing yoga in college and I completed my 200 hr teacher training at Moksha Yoga Chicago in 2013. As a teacher I am passionate about alignment and authenticity. I think it's important to bring my most genuine self to the practice and like to teach classes centered around a specific theme or purpose. I want my students to leave my class feeling empowered, uplifted and affirmed. I also love music, so expect a playlist curated with love and mindfulness in my classes. In addition to yoga, I study herbalism and folk medicine and have been a practicing Buddhist for 15yrs. In the rest of my life, I'm an artist, actor/comedian and writer. Yoga for me is both a practice and a mission. The practice being that of compassion, connection, and acceptance. The mission being one of healing. I believe yoga is an opportunity to cast off the transient self and to tap into the unlimited potential of being human.
